Basic Use:
Exterior or interior wall panel for new construction or rehabilitation
and retrofit applications. Suggested uses include. Exterior cladding,
curtain wall, spandrel, fascia, soffit, canopies, balcony panels,
etc. Interior cladding for walls, columns, beams, escalator and
stair walls, spandrels; gallery rail panels, soffit, etc. Flat
work or curvalinear construction involving bending or radiusing.
Custom fabricated to design requirements. Commercial, industrial,
institutional, and similar applications.
Limitations:
Non loadbearing use only.
Composition and
Materials:
Emburite is an overall 1/4" thickness composite panel
comprised of two outer skins of .032" thickness aluminum alloy laminated
to a moderately expanded, high density rigid polyvinylchloride (pvc) light
weight core using a neoprene based adhesive. Stacked on skids for delivery,
panels are protected with adhesive plastic coating which must be removed
immediately upon installation.

Sizes:
Width: Up to 52" maximum for anodized finish and up to 60"
maximum for Duranar and other paint finishes.
Length: as desired, depending on color. Contact Embury for
requirements.
Thickness: 1/4" standard thickness, other on special order.
Radiused corners: Variable. Contact Embury for requirements.
Finishes/Colors:
Available with AA Architectural Class l or Class II anodized
finish to .0007" anodic thickness in clear or range of manufacturer's
standard colors, or Duranar® 200 fluoropolymer enamel
coatings with Kynar 500* resin in wide range of architectural
colors.

Applicable Standards:
Anodized finishes to comply with Aluminum Association Designation
System for Aluminum Finishes. Duranar finishes to comply with
Architectural Aluminum Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 605 test
requirements.
Installation:
Emburite preformed wall panels installed according to specifications
and approved shop drawings. Details shown are example only. Embury
Company does not install.

Warranty:
Normal 1 year construction warranty against defects and workmanship
on all manufactured Embury products. Extended warranties available
on special applications and on metal finishes or coatings as per

Maintenance:
Normal cleaning and maintenance only for aluminum finishes required.

available to the professions and trades for design assistance,
special metal fabrication and finish recommendations, including
renovation suggestions. Early consultation can reduce construction
costs by simplifying preparation and fabrication.

Materials:
Preformed Metal Cladding System .1 Emburite preformed composite 1/4"

Panels manufactured by Embury Company to AA and AAMA requirements in accordance
with specifications and manufacturers approved shop drawings.
Fabrication:
1.Form all panels to specified dimensions with tolerances to accommodate
expansion and contraction between panels and structural members. Radii
of curved panels to be accurately formed in manufacturers plant.
.2 Form return panel edges where shown by v- routing inner aluminum
skin prior to bending using factory on-line routing technique. Apply hot
melt adhesive to back side of all breaks or folds in material.
.3 Factory fabricate accessory and trim components, ready for installation.
